How do to image-by-image replacement, on web page
self

Posted on 04/16/2006 5:03:12 PM PDT by rudy45

I am using FrontPage 2000. Here's what I would like to have happen: After the page loads, have an image on that page automatically dissolve to a second one (in the same position), then dissolve to a third, or fourth, then repeat back to the first. I know I can add DHTML effects in FrontPage, but the effects seem to work only when the page is loaded, or when mouse-over or mouse click occurs. In my case, however, I would like the transitions to occur automatically, without any action by user. In other words, I would like to have the custom animation features of PowerPoint. Thanks.

I use FrontPage 2003, and sometimes the labels on my titles are buttons are missing. If anyone knows how to correct this problem I would appreciate hearing from them?

Use a Shockwave Flash thingy. I think if you ping Lazamataz, he has some experience with this. It would have the added benefit of being able to use sound as well.
Here is a sample of his efforts in this area:

You may want to consider making an animated GIF out of them, that way you don't have to do anything fancy on the page itself.
