I think maybe he is being used for ratings right now. His show's days are numbered.
I am a huge fan, and sad to see Art go.

I'm sorry. He was unique, and I never figured him out.
But I always admired him.
I've commented on this throughout this thread. My feeling is that there was a defensiveness, a giddy odd, nervous laugh in Art's speech when talking about all the circumstances that led him to do what he did. I think he's going to regret his actions within a very few years. I think he's also going to miss his old home.
I hope I'm wrong because I think he's a nice guy. But he sounded very odd for a very long time when explaining things.
We'll see.
He said she just graduated from college........ I'd guess she's about 22 or 23.

They'll live and broadcast from the Philippines but I'm sure they will live in the USA 2 months of the year once the dust settles. Art might leave his Nevada compound for good. Too many memories
From what I've seen, young women who marry older men tend to do it either for the money or because of the money. Take the money away and suddenly they find other men to interest them.
I hope it works out for him.
My late wife died just over 5 years ago. I did try to jump back into the dating scene within about 6 months, but had to back off. It was too soon for me. I could not tell if I would be falling in love with the woman I was with or just trying to fill a huge void in my life – and that would not be fair to the woman.
I’m just getting to the point where I am thinking of getting serious again, but I too would be accused of “robbing the cradle”.
In a word, no! The impropriety of seeking a new mate "too soon" is in the eyes of those who aren't faced with the issue. While it is undoubtedly true that one is not thinking very clearly while suffering grief and is also highly vulnerable, I have known seemingly rapid re-marriages which have been successful (but only where longterm friends have been concerned)!
I have even known actual cases where dying spouses have suggested suitable candidates to their mates! It is not just a bizzare movie script......
