I have yet to even hear it mentioned that they have a new album out nevermind a cut from it.

That's because they were supposedly crossing over from the top of one of the best selling genres of music to Rock and Roll. Why would country stations carry that?

Because for a very long time, country stations have been filled with self-loathing, and they will carry ANYTHING that is anti-country.
