Why would country stations carry that?
Because for a very long time, country stations have been filled with self-loathing, and they will carry ANYTHING that is anti-country.
I've noticed a change, too, and I'm not a diehard country fan, just an occasional listener. Alan Jackson has a few lyrics that are outright socialist.
