Following a slew of media reports about the increase in drug-induced rapes, importer Benny Kalman has announced that the first consignments of the little cards that can detect the presence of date rape drugs GHB and Ketamine will arrive in the country as soon as next week.
"I saw the product a year and a half ago but was not interested in it as there were still no reports of date rape in Israel then," Kalman told The Jerusalem Post on Sunday. "Sadly, everything gets here eventually and a few weeks ago I realized that this problem was growing in Israel. It has really become a crisis in Israel with this rape drug."
....
According to Drink Safe Technologies literature, the Drink Spike Detector is the size of a credit card and can be easily kept in a pocket or wallet. It incorporates a technology that displays a visible color change when a drink spiked with GHB or Ketamine is tested.

Why not just get a rubber doll? It's not about sex. It's about power.

"Somebody Put Something In My Drink"
Somebody
Somebody Put Something In My Drink
Somebody
Another night out on the street
Stopping for my usual seat
Oh, bartender, please
Tanqueray and tonic's my favorite drink
I don't like anything colored pink
That just stinks...it's not for me
It feels like somebody put something
Somebody put something in my drink
Somebody put something
Somebody put something
Blurred vision and dirty thoughts
Feel (out of place), very distraught
Feel something coming on
Kick the jukebox, slam the floor
Drink, drink, drink, drink some more
I can't think
Hey! What's in this drink?
It feels like somebody put something
Somebody put something in my drink
Somebody put something
Somebody put something in my drink
Somebody put something
Somebody put something in my drink
Somebody put something...in my drink...in my drink...in my drink...in my drink
So you think it's funny
A college prank
Goin' insane for something to drink
Feel a little dry
Oh, I couldn't care what you think of me
Cause somebody put something in my drink
I can't think
Hey! Give me a drink
It feels like somebody put something
Somebody put something in my drink
Somebody put something
Somebody put something in my drink

To prove it in court no. The club did not want to do anything and we were to worried about her to even think about preserving evidence. But we knew who did it.
Needless to say we don't go there any more. And he is no longer welcome at our outings.

Len Bias of the Maryland Terps died of coke, truly a waste of a human life. He had the potential to be a Michael Jordan or better.

This is all I'm going to say on the matter. I have absoutely no interest in debating it or entertaining any other theories. None at all: Drugs are truly a plague on our society. They endanger us at every level, from our communities on up.

I agree, except to state, it's the "misuse" of many drugs that plague our society and that it is the good drugs properly used that are a blessing in our society.

I'm not supposed to use my ping list for evil - but this would be a good thing... right?
Okay... I'll ping.
Ping... know how to detect the fellow buying you a drink might not have your best interests in mind.

Len Bias was an idiot that thought he was above the human condition.
He lost that gamble.
And yes - I knew him, well.

It was a damn shame. I was at an Orioles game at Memorial Stadium when we got the news. We were all watching the "Dot Races" on the Jumbo-tron when they broadcast the announcement. They posted his picture on the screen and asked for a moment of silence. People in the stands starting crying out loud, it was very sad.

He was a long time abuser of cocaine - but to save his reputation - they said he was a first time user. Not true.
He was the Allen Iverson/Latrell Sprewell of his day. Not the nicest guy.
And since we're talking about date rape drugs - if they had them while he was alive - he would probably have had them on hand daily.
I remember the day he died very well. It was the first time someone I disliked strongly had passed away. It freaked me out.
A lot of talent - wasted.
