Very true but you will get the blame if it does not work and he will demand to know the full details of your TCF.

I can remember so many projects that due to time constraints had to be knife and forked engineered. It was a nightmare later for us in Sales trying to support the customer with spares etc because engineering were not given the time or the budget to document what was actually supplied and all documentation given to the customer was indicative only.
