Hi Dolly. I'm feeling better (still not 100%). I'm just briefly checking pings (I won't get caught up any time soon). I've been out of town on business since Thursday, so I haven't had much access to the Internet. I'll be travelling back tomorrow.
To: tuliptree76
Thanks for checking in. I recall you mentioning you had a business trip scheduled. Terrible to have to travel when you aren't 100%. Have a nice Easter! Will you be with family?

Yes, they are.
I think it's just that he doesn't realize his limitations.
Simply because he can write a great short story, or novella, or novel, does not mean he has the requisite talent to transfer that story to the screen.
Being a good novelist and a good screenwriter are two completely distinct things, for the most part.
It's kind of like Henry James, who was a great novelist but whose one attempt at being a successful playwright was an unmitigated disaster.

OK, select the Help menu. Scroll down to "About Mozilla Firefox"
The number should be either 1.0.x (x being 1-7) or 1.5.0.1.

Thanks for the ping Dolly. Great pictures and arrangement! How we love our dogs, huh?
We went to Lake Erie on vacations when I was a little girl, I remember it well. Later moved to Texas.

Greystone
Found 5-12-2001
d. 4-15-2006
Picture taken 4-06-2006, last picture of him I took.
It is my regret to inform yuns that Greystone has passed away at around 5:20 PM EDT (less than an hour ago as I type this) due to kidney failure. We gave it a good fight and he was doing fairly well until today. I wish to thank all of yuns for pulling, praying and rooting for his recovery. He was around four weeks old when we founf him, his mother, brother and sister so he just turned 5 about this time. He will be missed, I love that little "Maynard G. Krebs" (google Dobie Gillis and Bob Denver fo explaination) beard of his that you can see in the last picture I took of him last week.

Sorry to hear about Greystone. I know you did everything you could for him, no expense spared and no effort spared.
At this time all I can say is that I am happy you have other cats to keep you company.

Lake Erie is loads of fun. In 2001, I went up there and made my firt international amateur radio contact on my 2 meter walkie-talkie when I talked to some Canadian hams as my signal travelled across the lake. Presque Isle is a lot of fun plus they have a ship there that was used (it could be a replica too) from the War of 1812.

oh, I am SO VERY SORRY TO HEAR THAT. I know how much you loved him & tried so hard to help him. It was always so nice to get the positive reports on his progress.
It will be a difficult time ahead. I still cry daily for my oliver (died Dec 12, 2005)... some holes in your heart just don't heal, I guess.
We are all here for you if you need us!

So sorry to hear about Greystone I am certain that without your efforts he would not have lasted so long.
Though he had a short life I am certain it was a happy well loved one.
