There's probably no better way to get a feel for what's been happening in the Duke University lacrosse team rape story than to read a series of revised news alerts on the case issued by the Durham Police's Crimestoppers unit. An initial release sent out April 3 which offered cash rewards for tips about the case read: "The victim was sodomized, raped, assaulted and robbed. This horrific crime sent shock waves throughout our community."
Yesterday at 11:16am, according to the Raleigh News & Observer, Crimestoppers issued a revised version of the same news release which dropped the entire second sentence about a "horrific crime" and also added a qualifier to the first: "The victim alleges that she was sodomized, raped, assaulted and robbed." [emphasis added]
A mere eighteen minutes later a third revision was issued, changing the word "victim" to "complainant."
The evolving facts in the case seem to not only warrant those revisions but also to suggest that the case may be in the process of unraveling.

That's what I've been wondering from the beginning of this "strange" story.
That would be too long, but I get your drift.
Susie is a little long in the tooth for that role. I see her as the heroic DA after a sex change operation.
The Duke players were portrayed as privileged white athletes who were acting in a way that has been described as racist and sexist, even without the rape allegation.
They answered it for you.
My guess all along was a pimp (if a prostitute) or a dealer.
All we need to know right? GUILTY!
And yet a short time later at Duke hospital she is described as yelling her head off and not even wanting a man to get near her so that she had to be examined by a woman. If she could bottle that sober-up remedy she'd be rich. And then the Duke lax team would have something to sue her for.
Has anyone told the Native Americans Lacrosse was only for the elite white man?
Maybe this is why the boyfriend took her to the hospital and she failed to mention rape to Kim? Also makes it seem a little hard to imagine her memory would be too good?
The chart isn't labeled, but must be thousands of households
The rape case was dismissed, but Bryant was never proved innocent. He was almost surely guilty. All his statements about the case were proven to be lies. He said he never had sex with the victim. Do you still believe that Bill Clinton has never slept with anybody besides Hillary?
The Kroger security guard said in an interview she thought the woman was intoxicated but when she got close to her didn't smell any alcohol.
And then we hear that not long after the police find her passed out drunk, she is up and hysterical and screaming at the hospital.
So is it drugs? Is that rollercoaster-like activity consistent with meth use? (It would be interesting to find out if people who know her call her "Crystal Meth"?)
Do you think that the police officer called her boy friend to come pick her up and take her to the hospital?
What about the story that she seemed fine until they put her in the squad car?
All ya'll who are maybe just now really getting into the details of this will be interested in this really long thread from two weeks ago:

It's only for people who enjoy running around in circles beating each other with sticks while a solid hard rubber ball comes flying at you at 80 mph. As far as I know it's an equal opportunity sport.
I just heard the tape of the officer saying she was "just passed out drunk."
heh-heh
Poor Nifong, it must suck to be him right now. Next he will tell us all how those rich, white boys slipped that poor woman a mickey. That's why she was passed out! Yeah! That's the ticket!

Who the heck knows whats going on?
After a meth high, during which a hard user can go 2 as much as 2 weeks without sleep, they crash. After the crash some wild, psychotic behavior. You cannot argue with a tweaker and they will look you in the eye and swear they were raped and will be believable. They wrote the manipulation book.
The meth itself only stays in the body about 48 hours, so by the time they get to that stage a blood test will not show anything other than the pot they smoked it with (or other drugs they take)
I don't know about crack.
That is why I strongly suspect a dealer for her injuries. From my experience with a family member, her behavior sounds like it could be meth.
Has Nifong been so busy doing interviews and campaigning that he doesn't get daily updates on the case from the police investigators? Yesterday he said he couldn't tell the defense whether or under what circumstances an ID had been made, because he had not yet received a written report about it from Durham police. Now, the arriving officer at Kroger seems to be confirming the defense contention that the accuser was "seriously impaired." What's going on within that so-called investigation?
