"I'm borderline surprised Comedy Central aired this episode at all."

It lets them look 'edgy' and 'brave' without actually offending Muslims.

I honestly don't know, but I'd trust Matt & Trey before any network. My guess is its based in truth if nothing else.

That's what my wife just said. I also don't see them crapping on the American flag and Jesus without making a point. And if Comedy Central didn't really refuse to show Molestin Mo, then there's no point to the crap on Jesus and the flag.

I think that Matt and Trey are upset that CC pulled the Scientology Episode..

That's what I was wondering last week and this week ... was all this to make a point over the scientology stuff.

Then again, muhammed may just be code for... Tom Cruise.

That's what I was thinking. This was an outlandish way for Trey and Matt to get back at Comedy Central for pulling the Scientology episode and to expose the hypocrisy-it's okay to show Jesus crapping on the flag but we can't show Mohammad and we can't show the scientology episode because certain individuals found it offensive. Once again, Trey and Matt are brilliant geniuses.

Exactly their point... the double standard Comedy Central has.

Yeah. They call President Bush Hitler and Satan all day, but won't show a three-second animation of mohammed. Typical liberal pussies.

I didn't think about that. They could have ripped on her real good as well. Anyway, I think they got their message across.

What happened? (I wasn't watching). Matt and Trey made the animation but CC wouldn't show it?

I am not offended at all.

Basically the episode is saying that its ok for terrorist to make cartoons that crap all over the flag, and on Christianity, but we can't even show the hands of Muhammed. I think it pretty much sums up the hypocritical problem we are currently facing with terrorist.

Comedy Central caved to Islamic pressure.

I'm not sure that CC did cave to Islamic pressure. I've yet to find an article or anything to suggest there was ever a debate between SP and CC over showing Molestin Mo, and furthermore, he was in the Super Best Friends episode ... so SP has already shown Muhammed on CC.

More and more, I'm wondering if this isn't about CC pulling the scientology episode.

I'd like to point out that I didn't notice a bumbling, idiotic monkey-like President Bush in this episode, as they could have done. Instead, they offered a fairly thoughtful, concerned (if misguided) President Bush who does the right thing in the end.

Well, before the pooping began, anyway

Let's not forget CC also refused to rebrodcast the "Bloody Mary" episode ...

So they also bow to the Catholics ...

The page to email Comedy Central. Go to the page and then click on the "viewer feedback form". I just told them that I think it sucks that they could show crap on the American flag, but were too gay to show Mohammad.

I'm that's it. But don't forget the Catholic episode that was pulled after its initial airing.

So far Comedy Central has caved before Catholics, Muslims and Scientologists.

Oh my.

Yep, that and the Bloody Mary episode. This episode was an elaborate swipe at CC. I suspect they themselves wrote the censorship of Mohammed into the show to make their point most effectively.
