Exactly their point... the double standard Comedy Central has. It's okay to make fun of Jesus, but not Mohammedguy (sic).
Yes, it was offensive. But we're not going to riot or kill. They know that. Comedy Central caved to Islamic pressure.

Yup, that was Minority Report...

Oh - me too :~D
And these others aren't 'xplainin'.
I get the feeling they didn't actually show muhammad, but with two shows focusing on the issue of whether they would and how ridiculous everyone's reaction to it might be, I wonder if maybe these people who think they 'wussed out'... have actually missed the point.
The image isn't funny, or poignant. People's reactions are.
But that's just my 'haven't seen it yet' two cents.

I liked it how they trashed the White House Press Corp...

Did Comedy Central really not allow them to show it, or was it all a joke? I never saw any articles or heard anything about a conflict between the show and the network other than what appeared on the show.

Comedy Central is going to have to explain why its okay to crap on Jesus and the American flag, but not show Mohammad. Brilliant episode.

The message is...
At Viacom, parent of Comedy Central and CBS, it's OK to have Jesus sh*t all over the American Flag, but you can't show Mohammad.
Crazy... and true.

I honestly don't know, but I'd trust Matt & Trey before any network. My guess is its based in truth if nothing else.

Then again, muhammed may just be code for... Tom Cruise.

I'm borderline surprised Comedy Central aired this episode at all. Get past the Family Guy stuff and the other side issues -- this episode was mainly a vicious swipe by Matt + Trey at Comedy Central itself. The dialogue throughout the episode makes CC look horrible, and rightfully so. They don't seem thrilled to be on this channel at the moment, to say the least.

Did the episode show? Was there a cartoon?

That's the message - we as a country have given in to terrorism.
