As far as Wie earning her card, I have my doubts. She'd have to go through Q-school, and from what I've seen of her game, she's not there. Maybe in a few years--but she's not there now, and I'm not even sure it would be close.I agree, she's not there yet. But that young lady is only 16. Her '60 Too Many Minutes' performance last night strongly indicated to me that she's going to get a lot better in the next decade!

The other was last week when Phil came to the range before the final round. Olin Browne who was at the stall next to him said, "Oh, hi Phil. I didn't know you were here this week!"ROFL!

Yes that girl is great. Her mother is very ill, and she and her mom are very close. That girl, Dakoda, has a perfect swing. Prayers for her mom.
Check out this!

David was my favorite player years ago..... I guess he still is.... he and big John Daly.
David has/had an inner-ear problem (vertigo), problems with his balamce, and he also is a bit of a "head-case". He has his reasons. If you look into his bio you will see.
I root for him to find his old form. I've always liked the people who are a little "different".
I'll never forget his 59 at the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic.

He has played excellent golf, great course management especially since he's a lefty. He's right handed, but he swings with his left hand.

Whoa, wait a second. Just scrolling through these emails early Monday morning, before the caffeine kicks in. Is this guy Archie bad mouthing Tiger, whilst supporting the "cheatin' Fijan"? How ironic is that???

It's sounds like Dakoda's mom is in bad shape ... that article you linked was from last November, and they gave her only months to live at that time.
I have a great appreciation for the sport of golf, but no interest in playing :-).

I would have a sign that read "Give Me Back My Rib." That is awesome. Do you have that copyrighted? Let's design a T-Shirt, bumper-stickers, buttons, etc.!

I'd like to add Tom Lehman to your list of "good guys". If you haven't read "Who's Your Caddy" by Rick Reilly - DEFINITELY put it on your list of books to read. One of the players that he "looped" for was Lehman. A total class act - and I for one am darned glad he is our Ryder Cup captain this year.

Peronally, I think Phil Mickelson has mellowed out a lot in the past few years ever since he finally won a Major tournament. It's been said he had been quite "tight" in his dealings with other people up till that point because everybody was asking why he hasn't won a Major tournament. With Mickelson already winning three Majors, people aren't asking those questions anymore.

It all stems from a function at my college called "Tea With the Feminists." I always wanted to walk in, yell "Give me back my rib!" and run out. I talked about it all the time. Finally my friends convinced me to go. We went in and I planned to execute the deed. Suddenly I saw all my professors, who were surprised to see me there. They welcomed me and I had to hang out and I had to abandon the Plan for fear of alienating them further. The thing is the Tea with the Feminists actually turned out to be a good time (we played trivia, etc. Some of the questions were quite embarrassing--e.g., "Which professor was born on Independence Day in a town called Dyke?--I am not making this up). My friends and I ended up going every year to the Tea.
