Authorities in Oklahoma are continuing the investigation into Monday night's kidnapping of Garth Brooks' ex-wife Sandy Brooks.
Police near her home in Owasso, Oklahoma, say a bail bondsman showed up at her ranch to arrest a worker Quintine Cornelius Harper who failed to appear in court on an embezzlement case is Tulsa County.
Brooks did not know Harper was a wanted criminal. He had been working on the property and was staying in an apartment located in the barn.

There's a country song in here somewhere.
"Friends in Low Places"???
What rhymes with Quintine?
"thin wine"?
Iodine, if it's a long I.
Otherwise, quarantine.
"Well the picture in the paper showed the scene real well.. Papa's rig was buried in the local motel The desk clerk said he saw it all real clear He never hit the brakes and he was shifting gears"
Quittin' time for Quin-tine.
Glad she is ok. Lost all respect for Garth when he got rid of her for Trisha.
me to, Sandy was class act and Garth left his wife and kids. I used to love him when he sang songs that were so sweet and showed how much he loved Sandy. But that all went to waist when he decided to leave her.
Yep. Pretty much proved to me that Garth is as big a phony as all the rest.
well.. these fun'n'games are diverting, but... is the woman ok?
I'm glad his ex is okay.
He's been gaining weight again?
LMAO!
If you want ransom from somebody you dont kidnap the EX wife... The perps are likely to hear 'WELL SHE'S YOUR PROBLEM NOW!'
From online accounts I have seen, she is OK. Here is an AP lead:
CLAREMORE, Okla. (AP) - April 5, 2006 - Garth Brooks' ex-wife is all right, after being kidnapped at gunpoint from her Rogers County, Oklahoma, home.
It was common knowledge Garth was doinking her when they were on tour.Cant wait to see his comeback.Fat,bald, trying to fly over the crowd!
I really liked the guy too. Too bad he turned out to be a complete scumbag. I guess fame really did go to his head.
