Cruise Denies Adult Pacifier for Holmes
Internet Movie Database ^

Posted on 04/06/2006 4:46:25 AM PDT by YourAdHere

Tom Cruise has hit out at reports he has bought an adult pacifier to keep fiancee Katie Holmes quiet during childbirth. The heavily pregnant actress plans to adhere to strict Scientology rules and give birth without screaming, crying or making loud noises, and Star magazine insisted Cruise would help by providing a specially designed device to bite. A source tell the magazine, "He commissioned an adult-sized 'binky' for her to clench between her teeth, hoping that it'll squelch her screams. In keeping with a Scientology silent birth, Tom is prepared to do whatever it takes to muffle Katie's moans and groans during the delivery." Cruise's publicist Arnold Robinson has dismissed the reports as nonsense. On Tuesday fellow Scientologist John Travolta lent his support to the controversial birth plans.

Scrappleface would be jealous.

Men should have babies. Then we'd see a lot about childbirth change.

Indeed, but you are reading it, it like those Couric stories, everyone talks about how they won't watch CBS news, but look how many posts on Couric in the past few days. Kind of like Brokeback Mountain, it probably isn't a good movie, besides being perverted, but because of all the fuss about it a lot of people will see it. But, hey I am reading this post also, won't watch CBS news and won't watch Brokeback Mountain, but I will read about them on FR

Well, I always thought the broad was a little light in the intelligence department, but this proves that she is just plain stupid.

Along with that little wimp, Cruise and that other idiot, Travolta.

Scientology...ha!

What a pantload of goofy crap.

I was in a video store yesterday, and I noticed a DVD set of her "Dawson's Creek." I always thought she was a minor character, but the packaging people were no fools. They put her mug up front and center. If you squint, you can make out Dawson in the background.

These people are from another planet.

You forgot the "THIS IS WHAT SCIENTOLOGISTS ACTUALLY BELIEVE" footer.

No, really. This is what these people actually believe.

Good grief.

What's he going to do when the baby comes out screaming? Stuff a sock in it's mouth?

When my daughter was two days old and the nurse was holding her I said something to the nurse and my daughter just whipped her head around to look at me. We couldn't believe it. Like the baby hasn't been hearing their voices for the last 8 months? What's a week now? Are they going to keep her from hearing other noises, too?

I wonder what they're going to do if a C-section is required?

*sigh* Hollyweird it right.

There's a whole period of silence/isolation that the baby is supposed to go through to make sure it isn't mentally harmed by the mother.

I just hope the baby isn't mentally harmed by having a couple of moonbat parents.

Do they require them to be utterly silent during intercourse is well? Or are they just quiet because scientologists can't find the right spot?

My mom's best friend became a Hubbard disciple early on....kid 60s maybe. I knew a fair amount about this junk from an early age. My mom's pal drifted off from marriages and pretty aimless.

She came from abuse from her dad who was am Army chaplain.

Many of these folks have serious issues.

They love the stare down....that is sort of their first technique they pick up...the Scientology glare.

They are moonbats...they may be right about doping kids too much like Miss Preston talks...but they are still moonbats

gullible folks missing something
