mac mini is not too overpriced...

And macs are just more fun than Windows machines

Yes, Mac are pricey, but I expect they will become more competative in time. I have never owned a Mac (own an iPod) but I am now seriously thinking that my next computer will be a Mac. One of the strong allures, for me, is that a Mac is highly capable in the video editing area. I have stacks and stacks of video that needs to be edited and converted to DVD, and there simply is NO Windows based software that really can handle the task. Sure, there's a lot of PC video software out there, but it is by and large extremely buggy and not very effective. I end up spending hours and hours seeking work arounds, and waste tons of time. Nope, I think I just may get a Mac - especially if I'll also be able to play BF2!

9 times the price??? Huh?

Low end Mac - $799

Low end Dell - $400

So 2X the price in this specific case.

On the higher end machines, the price isn't anywhere near as different.
