I had a good idea once. It involved a "back-in-time" strips, to the earliest days of Islam. It showed Muhammed writing the Koran and creating the religion. But the gag was, the real-life Muhammed was a cartoon smiley-face.

Then Allah gives him a divine vision of the future, showing the outrage over the cartoons today. Muhammed is confused because the cartoons are what he really looks like. So to prevent the riots from happening, he makes it an Islamic sin for Muslims to make an image of himself, in an attempt to stifle violence.

It was an idea, but a bit of a complicated one.

I drew a poor one, but the idea was good. Mo was in a cave conversing with a cardboard cut-out of an angel being held up by the tale of a serpent hiding behind it.

Mo said "imagine...me, a prophet."

And the serpent said, "Not "a" prophet, Mo...THE PROPHET."
