Unlike UF, we're an academic based institution and the balls are traded in for books this time of year.

To that, my son says:

I'm not surprised to hear that from Florida's Stupidest University. (FSU) I've heard they're going to let you guys play the high schoolers this year. You should be proud that you have the best community college in Florida. Next time, pick a better mascot than a guy wearing make up. It's good to know that FSU is still an all girls' school and next year if you 'noles can stop taking steroids, maybe they'll let you join the WNBA.

My son, he's a typical Gator fan.

I read an article that stated that Florida joined Ohio State and Michigan as the only schools that have both football and basketball titles since 1960.

But did not Arkansas win a football championship in 1964, to go along with their 1994 basketball title?

You're son is a little bitter........dominating in both academics and athletics is tough but we're up to the task.

Maybe you aren't quite up to the task. (Yes, I correct him too.)

We just started learning about contractions during my senior year at FSU. They made sure I could read during my junior year.

Don’t count your eggs yet, the fix looks like its in. The zebras are setting the stage for the Oden single handed comeback show.

Go Gators!
I was definatley getting nervous when the refs wouldn’t call Oden for anything the first 35 minutes. It seems like the calls were one-sided and I was concerned that all of the Gators were going to foul out.
