Wow...the spoiler stuff is interesting.

Here's my 2 cents:

Paris - At Last - if she nails in, she's in another week.
Elliott - If he sings Unchained, and does good, he could be in another week. The other tune, he will probably go home. You've got to pick songs people know.
Kelli - I HATE Celine Deon. Doing Celine could be the "kiss of death" for Kelli. The "Sympathy vote" usually doesn't last 2 weeks in a row.
Taylor - either tune should be great.
Chris - Aerosmith?? I can't see it being a choice. But after being in the bottom last week he should be safe.
Katharine - If McPhee nails it...she pushes ahead. If not, back in the bottom 3. But really, all she needs to do (as posted already) is just stand there and smile pretty for the camera and she'll make the finals.

It gets tough now because I pretty much like everyone who's left. Some better than others...LOL

I don't care for Celine Dion, but if we have to hear one of her songs, I guess I prefer it coming from someone else, rather than herself! lol

I just thought of a perfect song for Katherine: "Con Te Partiro" (I Will Go With You). Bocelli does a great version, but Donna Summer's version is so powerful, it knocks you back. I think Kat could do the low range almost as well as Donna, plus you don't have to go TOO high (screechy) on that booming last note.

I wonder if any of the contestants would have the stones to do that song with Bocelli being the spotlight artist this week...

I actually prefer it when they sing songs that people have not heard before because whatever you hear from them in the future is going to be new. Plus, is this a Karaoke performance or a singing competition? I'd rather see them stand on their own merits rather than live off of another artist's glory.
