Question to everyone....
Do you think the dilemma they put Taylor in and his subsequent moving to Elliotts corner is going to garner backlash from the fans of Ace, Paris and Chris ?
You got to remember, as the competition dwindles, SOUL PATROL might not be enough to make Taylor win. Hes got to capture a significant number of fans of those eliminated.
Im afraid the fans of Ace are going to go to Chris or Paris for what TPTB made Taylor do tonight.
Dont get me wrong, SOUL PATROL is solid Taylor voting block, but as the number of contestants shrink, I dont think it will be enough to sustain him to victory. SOUL PATROL will need to make allies, not anatagonists of our man is to win.
Im afraid tonight might NOT have helped at all.
DID YOU READ THE BACKLASH FROM THE OTHER IDOL FAN BOARDS ? I havent but Ill be watching intently for any signs.
IF I WERE TAYLOR, I WOULD HAVE TOSSED A COIN.
Taylor had no choice. He was put in a bad situation. Seacrest was "in the middle" so he didn't have that option. He was "classy" in how he handled it and that should be enough.
I don't think it will hurt him that much.
I think the fans know that he was put into a bad spot. I give them more credit.
You're right though. I wonder how many of those votes will swing to Taylor. Either way Taylor gets a contract, and I buy his CD's...but I'd sure like to see him win.
As an avid Ace voter, I can safely say that my votes will go to either Elliott or Katharine. This competition is still about talent, right? No need for petty back-lash to Taylor.
I think we all could see that it was the show that put him in an akward position, not fair to make Taylor choose; these people are his friends!
Maybe. But more than likely it will be forgotten by next week.
Did you figure out the reason that they kept Taylor for the hot seat at the end? It's because EVERYONE knows that Taylor was safe for this week! All the others could be argued, but Taylor's position (so far) is unassailable.
Found it a little sad that Taylor picked one of the groups. I liked someone's suggestion that he should have sat on Simon's lap -- with the only really "safe" group in the room! Would have got a big laugh.
