Oprah's "Minge" just killed himself....
Towelee saves the day!

As Simon would say, that was just "weird!"

No, Paris actually has singing talent unlike Kellie...

Does that mean she actually is sucking the talent away from the other contestants? Like a blackhole?

"That's All" is what Ace sang. He's gone now. Just thought it was interesting.

Hey, now that you mention it, McPhee does bear a strong resemblance to Madelyn Stowe.

But Paris will be long gone before Kellie.

Don't cry for her, she'll do well on her own. Paris's grandmother's a recording artist and she'll get a contract.
If she does Jazz standards, I'll but a copy.

Close your eyes and listen to Paris. She isn't that good. And more importantly, she would never sell 1/10th as many records as Pickler would.

I think anyone with a brain can see that Taylor didn't want to be put in that position, and wouldn't hold it against him.

You're right though. I wonder how many of those votes will swing to Taylor. Either way Taylor gets a contract, and I buy his CD's...but I'd sure like to see him win.

It's reason #524752354 that I have to move out of IL.

As an avid Ace voter, I can safely say that my votes will go to either Elliott or Katharine. This competition is still about talent, right? No need for petty back-lash to Taylor.

I think we all could see that it was the show that put him in an akward position, not fair to make Taylor choose; these people are his friends!

Ace seemed like a nice kid. I hope he does well for himself.

I figured he'd have been gone last week so at least he went out on a "high note." (And not a faulsetto one)

"That's All" was a much better song for him than "We Will Rock You" was.

Pickler won't sell many records for long. People who like country (and that's all who really vote for her) will be turned off by her Hickler act and inability to sing anything harder than a simple tune.

I hope Cowell chokes on her. She's not in Carrie Underwood's universe.

Good thread tonight (and last night) Jonny!

See you next week!

BTW...Secret Service man Aaron is still alive! I'll bet he saves the day along with Jack!

Rock on!

You got that right! And right after that is golfball sized hail, followed by the tollway system. :-)

Do you think the dilemma they put Taylor in and his subsequent moving to Elliott’s corner is going to garner backlash from the fans

Maybe. But more than likely it will be forgotten by next week.

I think that was Alan Rickman's American movie debut. He is such a great bad guy.

Yep--have you ever seen Quigley Down Under?
