Yes it did! In fact, that show died the moment he left--it's been a disaster ever since. The guy was New York. There's no substitute.

Several years ago, Jerry was on Conan O'Brien's show and they reinacted the scene in Dirty Dancing where Baby tells her father what's what--Conan was Baby, LOL!

I just love the guy. He was a song and dance man on Broadway back in the day!

That would have been a riot to see. Jerry Orbach had a great singing voice and did a lot of Broadway. He was terrific.
