The weekend looks to be delightful. The city is quite beautiful this time of year. This is not an easy school to get into so she must have done very well. If she would like any insider information, I am sure my girls would be most pleased to talk to her.
Thank you. I'm biased, but at the risk of sounding conceited, she is even smarter than I was at her age (and more well rounded). I thought when we first visited St. Louis last year that she would not want to go there based on the dreary night we had when we arrived. However, everything about Wash U. seemed like a great fit for her. She is not like most other kids her age. She's very curious by nature, and likes to stretch her mind as much as she can. Art has been an outlet for her from her academic pursuits. Luckily she inherited an artsy gene from my grandfather, and has been trained. (I inherited it too, but have no training whatsoever).
There is a multicultural weekend going on there, and she was invited to come at Wash U's expense. How could she possibly say no?
