but postulating her possible parenting is pretty
presumptive and premature, imo.

And although I guess I'm in the minority here, it just seems tacky to enter into endless speculation that the boy is her son rather than her brother, when there is NOTHING that we are currently aware of to support that notion. If dad's been in and out of jail, I can easily see him hooking up with some other woman while he was out and producing a scion. Rather than referring to him as her "half brother" all the time, Grandpa and Kellie would probably just refer to him as her brother. I find this scenario MUCH more probable than the notion that (a) she got pg at 13 (possible but unusual) and (b) NOBODY in town knows that it happened! If you've ever lived in a small town, you know that everyone knows EVERYTHING! LOL! There are no real secrets in small towns, believe me.
