I really like Katherine. She is gorgeous & has a beautiful voice. She is missing something though.....passion...soul....personality....she is missing the "thing" that would make her unbeatable. I will continue to vote for her....that doesn't make me a man does it?

Not tonight. DI has him a solid #2.
My point was that better singers than the Pickle will go home before she will and that just sucks.

{ouch that was mean, even for me} But it's true--LOL! All of my high school photos look like that! Just the hair, though--not the rest of Alf :)

You know, I always feel a little bad making fun of Cowboy Troy, because he seems like the nicest man.
Miranda Lambert was on the first season of Nashville Star. I have her CD and love it. Next month she is the featured entertainer at the NRA national convention.

She actually can sing here and there but she is too inconsistant and the perfomances are uneven. She bats her eyes, twangs it up and shakes her ass and people will vote for her.

Elliott, Paris and McPhee are all better singers, consistantly outsing her and they will all likely to go home before she will. I don't believe McPhee or Paris consistently outsings her, Elliot always does good but he's a goofy lookin' dude and will be booted off within the next couple weeks. Not because of his voice but because of his image. He isn't Ruben Studdard or Chicken Little enough to get those type of votes. Just like in politics, its not always the positions or platform the candidate takes their image is also a factor.
To: silent_jonny
Oh yeah, he's completely an easy mark, but it's kind of like the audition phase of AI when the east european person comes in and sings the national anthem. You want to make fun of them, but feel a slight tinge of guilt. Not that I ever let that stop me. LOL

Tell me which weeks she outsang the other two women. Add it up and they have basically done a better job than she has. Tonight she was boring, she mangled the song in too many places and both McPhee and Paris showed that they are that much better than her.
Elliott's modesty is his downfall I suppose but he has a lot of fans who like the fact that he's not an a$$hole.

From what I've seen of Nashville Star, Cowboy Troy is the one that tells the singers that he or she has been eliminated. Like getting kicked out doesn't suck enough already--you have to hear it from Cowboy Troy??? lol

In her looks she reminds me of Dolly Parton before all of the horrible plastic surgery. She writes all of her songs, too. I belive I heard she wrote a lot of them with her dad.

Good job was done across the board tonight. Ace and Pickler were probably the worst two but far from their worst performances ever.

Pickler is as stupid as Stalin, who people erroneously viewed as stupid. She knows that America loves to give people second chances. We are all about second chances. But, you have to ask for it and be sincere and she pulled it off-- even if she wasn't sincere. This is a popularity contest and Kellie is like the pretty cheerleader who for some crazy reason isn't a total snobby bitch, which makes her loved by everyone on campus. She knows exactly how to present herself for this show.

There is no chance Kellie is in the Bottom 3. None. She was masterful in handling her butchering of the song.
