Found this on another site. Hope it isn't true.

From the AI site:

Posted: 4/7/2006 5:24:00 PM PST Hey guys, I couldn't believe what happened the other night..I just got back today from California (Visiting family while they were on spring break) and we went to the results show because they had been on the waiting list since the beginning of last season. I just realized that some of you figured something was edited. Well I can tell you what happened...there were a group of 3 or 4 girls, by the looks they were white and hispanic teenagers...anyway, when Ryan announced that Mandisa was gone, they jumped up and were throwing their hands up yelling "Bye Bye N___er" and "Go Home N___a"..infact you can hear the last time it was said like some of you have pointed out...it was total shock in that room, guys..those girls were jerked out of that room faster than you could blink, but it had all already been said and had it's affect..needless to say, the mood of the whole place sunk and it never did regain the excitement...we were all left with sick feelings in our stomachs..there were several people that could be seen that had been crying, whether from anger or frustration..it was sad..We Love You Mandisa!

That is really disgusting. Mandisa seems like a kind and gentle soul, and to have to put up with that kind of nonsense at her moment of departure is just sick beyond words.

I agree. It would explain the silence.

On a lighter note:

Notice the only ones smiling are "Katherine" and "Paris".

"Bucky" looks like Colonel Sanders.

On that same forum they have Pickler as the one that is going to do Bohemian Rhapsody.

I doubt it though. Tomorrow is going to be an interesting show.

My family and I were going on vacation that day and I set a 6 hour videotape to record as we walked out the door. One of the last things it caught was the U2 performance. I had been a U2 fan since the "October" record and had watched Live at Red Rocks a billion times but had never seen a performance like Bad. I wore the tape out over the next few years watching and re-watching that performance. I still have never seen them live in person. I need to hear 40 live once before I die...

That would be absolutely hysterical. I can just hear her country twang singing:

I see a little silhouetto of a man,
Scaramouche, Scaramouche will you do the Fandango?
Thunderbolt and lightning-very very frightening me

Holy crap that would be funny....I hope she tries it.

"Live at Red Rocks"

Still their best as far I'm concerned. Eleven O'Clock Tick Tick and all that.

I caught them live a few months before the Live Aid gig, and they were still a hungry act. This was before all the cowboy hats, golden arches, wrap shades, leather and Ipods.

Caught them again during the ZooTV thing, and wondered what the hell happened to them. Despite having some good songs left in them at that point.

Now Bono is a fixture on C-Span. Oh well, at least Van Morrison can still get it done representing from the Emerald Isle.

That's why I doubt that it would be her trying it. If she did it might be her ticket home.

I-N-T-I-I-A-L S-P-O-I-L-E-R

AVERT YOUR GAZE IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO KNOW...

FROM VARIOUS IDOL MESSAGE BOARDS... I DO NOT VOUCH FOR ITS ACCURACY, ALTHOUGH I MUST ADMIT, A LOT OF THEM HAVE BEEN SPOT ON IN THE PAST.

----------------------------------------------

An Elliott Yamin family friend posted a list of Queen song spoilers in Elliott's forum at americanidol.com:

Taylor Hicks - Crazy Little Thing Called Love

Chris Daughtry - We Will Rock You. We are the Champions..

Bucky Covington - Another One Bites the Dust

Ace Young - Bohemian Rhapsody

For Elliott's song choice, he posted only clues:

Clue: "I have no Faith in rumors"

Answer: The 13th cut on Disc 2 of George Michael's record "The Best of George Michael" is "Faith". The 14th cut is "Somebody to Love" with QUEEN.

So the GUESS is:

Elliot Yamin - Somebody to Love

The Elliott Yamin spoiler looks like a good bet. But not sure about the others. Friend of Elliott posted the spoilers with no explanation. But that Ace Young song choice? I've been hearing a little buzz about that one...

From MJ's Big Blog (mj's big blog

Song Spoilers

An Elliott Yamin family friend posted a list of Queen song spoilers in Elliott's forum at americanidol.com. He posted this with no explanation. It could be speculation on his part.

Taylor Hicks - Crazy Little Thing Called Love
Chris Daughtry - We Will Rock You/We are the Champions
Bucky Covington - Another One Bites the Dust
Ace Young - Bohemian Rhapsody

The Ace Young song choice? I've been hearing a little buzz about that one... (meaning I've heard this rumor elsewhere)

For Elliott Yamin's song choice, his friend posted only clues:

Clue: "I have no Faith in rumors"

Answer: The 13th cut on Disc 2 of George Michael's record "The Best of George Michael" is "Faith". The 14th cut is "Somebody to Love" with QUEEN.

So the GUESS is:

Elliot Yamin - Somebody to Love

The Elliott Yamin spoiler looks like a good bet. This Clue Game hosted by Friends of Elliott has been going on for a few weeks. They post the clues, and someone guesses it correctly every week.

"Somebody to Love" for Elliott looks like a keeper.

thanks to the reader who sent me a link to the spoiler thread at the official forum. and thanks to the super-sleuths in Elliott's thread at Twop for putting together the clues...

Ace and Bohemia Rhapsody.....LMFAO!!! Buh-bye Ace....

FWIW, I don't like any of the other people doing any of those other songs either. Taylor will do the one done most often and it already got David Radford booted. Chris's choice would be too predictable unless he does a completely different arrangement. Bucky will ruin a perfectly good song...again. I hope this is a fake list.

Funny....I was posting the same thing as you posted yours. Do you believe any of these? Way to "predictable" for me....I just don't buy them.

The thing is this -- Rumors fly fast and furious.

I've been following the song choices of one of my favorites in the competition --- Taylor Hicks.

Thus far, the following have been accurate on Mondays -->

LEVON ( spot on )

EASY (then there was another rumor that it would be Ray Charles' I GOT A WOMAN, but the first rumor turned correct).

TAKIN' IT TO THE STREETS ( spot on again ).

LIVIN' IN THE CITY (no one guessed this ).

NOT FADE AWAY ( the source was Taylor's grandma and it was SPOT ON although Grandma incorrectly titled the song -- NEVER FADE AWAY, but we all knew what it was ).

TROUBLE ( not one anticipated this. Most of the rumors said it would be Drops of Jupiter but it was Ace who sang it ).

COUNTRY ROADS (those who spoiled it said it would be a John Denver song but never said what specific one it was. Which left everyone speculating becuase of the adjective --- Upbeat -- and no it was not THANK GOD I'M A COUNTRY BOY or GRANDMA's FEATHER BED ).

So, there have been good spoilers and bad spoilers but looking at the list above, the good ones tended to outnumber the bad ones.

So, here we are -- breathlessly anticipating Queen Night.

According MJs American Idol Blog ( the definitive source for spoilers which tend to be close to correct more often than not )....

-----------------------------------------------------

'Some news on Taylor Hicks's song choice - I've received an anonymous tip telling me that he WON'T be singing "Crazy Little Thing Called Love." The source is good, so those who weren't particularly fond of that choice song choice can rest easy.'

There are some very interesting arrangements of Queen songs on this record:

Killer Queen - link

You can see some of the contestants singing some versions of these.

Someone needs to sing Fat Bottom Girls. I would vote for the for the rest of the season. Nobody has the guts though....Mandisa would have done it if she was still around I have no doubt.

I think the next female voted off will be the one with the worst outfit, no matter how well she sings.

Those are some interesting arrangements. But I see real problems with anyone but Queen doing Queen songs. They haven't held up over the years, I'm afraid. Some of the best known songs just sound silly today (i.e. Bicycle Race, Killer Queen, Bohemian Rhapsody).

STRICTLY FOR TAYLOR HICKS FANS ONLY....

If you heard the audio interview with Taylor Hick's dad, Brad (which I posted on this thread),you will hear an interesting snippet....

Said Brad Hicks (Taylor's dad) in the interview:

"Taylor asked me last summer, he said, what do you think of me trying out for American Idol. And I said, why don't you just buy a lottery ticket. The odds of that happening are just too much. We were at a crossroads where maybe he needed a career change..."

His dad wanted him to go into REAL ESTATE. Also talked of him studying marketing, and broadcast journalism.

So, you fans of his... Do you really want him to abandon performing altogether to sell houses and property ?

Instead of bringing down the house, he'd now be selling them. WHAT A WASTE OF TALENT !!

VOTE FOR TAYLOR HICKS LIKE HELL IF YOU WANT HIM TO CONTINUE HEARING HIS VOICE !
