Thanks. Interesting how few of the novels and stories I've read. A Feast For Crows was very good, I could see it winning.
And Connie Willis has a nomination so she'll probably win. It's amazing how few people seem to know who she is when she's won so many awards. I think it's because she writes so few books. Every single one seems to get nominated but when it's been six long years since her last book...

I'm less than impressed with the book; half a book isn't anywhere near so good as a full one.
[From Mr. Martin's journal...] On other fronts, my beloved New York Giants exited the NFL playoffs ignominiously, courtesy of the Carolina Panthers (probably just as well that I was flying to Toronto during that game, it would only have broken my heart), my beloved New York Jets lost their coach courtesy of the Kansas City Chiefs and hired a Kid Coach in his stead, and George W. Bush contines to subvert my beloved Constitution, spying on American citizens and supporting torture in Guantanamo.
It would have been better for him to spend more time writing the book, and less time drinking the kool aid.
