How about how a court recently ordered Google to give up a person's Gmail mail, including his deleted mail. If you want it private, keep it on your own computer, encrypted with open source encryption software (do NOT trust closed source), and with a long passphrase.

If google produces a product that is a server based office platform I would not use office.google.com but if they sell it (as the do with the maps server) I would at least look at it as a possible way to simplify desktop support for a medium to large organization..
