Sadly, this past weekend was a scheduled getaway where I knew I'd be eating stuff that I hadn't been. Actually, I didn't too badly, but then when I got home there was a St. Joseph's Day pastry waiting for me . . .

It happens. You sound like you have a great attitude and I have no doubt you will get back where you want to be in no time and will be telling us you met your goal plus some!

I looked for opportunities. I was munching baby carrots along with the other stuff. They may not "cancel each other out", but they will fill you (and this was just before dinner, too).

Actually, the "best" thing that I had at the Con Suite (sci-fi convention, dontchaknow) were some chocolate-covered pretzels. Dang these melted in my hands and I had to leave the room to wash up. 8-)
