When I came to America I could only bring what would fit in two under 25 kilo suitcases. Not much for 23 years of living.
My Grandma and Grandpa came to visit and brought a truck load of stuff that they had kept for my family when we left. One of the things they brought was a little lamp that played a lullaby that had been in my room from when I was a baby.
It has been rewired and has a new shade but it is back in my room where it belongs.
(Don't tell anyone that I can be a sloppy sentimentalist at times)
Your secret is safe with me, Teddy.
I'm missing a footprint that was made when I was born. I have no clue where it could have gone, because I kept all that stuff together. It's the only thing of mine that was intact. :o[
That is wonderful.
How nice for you to have that.
:-)
