Notice that the tripods are easy to reposition, and that with a few more poles, you could make a sled to ride over the smaller logs set in advance of it.
That would do for short runs. For a longer distance, I would shape up something like very large solid cart wheels to encompass the stone, and turn the whole thing into a large hogshead.
When you throw ropes around such a construction, a small team of men can move it relatively quickly and easily, even up small slopes.
With ropes and wooden devices, stone age men moved incredibly large objects.
