Why I Support President Bush and the ZOT!
Posted on 03/19/2006 6:29:28 AM PST by thousand dollar hamburger
I think he has a sincere desire to help everyone. he has even gone out of his way to embrace people like Hillary Clinton and Ted Kennedy. He does not hold grudges as shown by his willingness to bend over backwards to allow terrorist supporting nations to operate our ports. We need this type of benevolent leader.
Our President is not a cheapskate, as he has opened up our budget to give to anyone who might need anything.
Aliens from all nations are welcomed into our great country without having to deal with mundane bureaucratic State approval. Cutting government red tape -- that's the Bush way!
Yes, our Prseident even realizes that occupying as many countries around the world as possible is the best way to spread American ideals.
We are truly lucky to have this great man. I suggest that at 10:00 AM EST, we all stand up in unison and shout -- HOORAY FOR BUSH!!!

I've missed you guys. :-(
We just had a flurry at work, with all of our quarterly, monthly, yearly, and weekly reports all due at the same time. Basic chaos.
I stayed late yesterday to finish a report that was due by COB back on the east coast. I hit the transmit button at 8:45pm their time and I'm sure there was nobody there to receive it, but I figure since border security is a 24/7 operation, I still got it in by close of business. :-)

Couldn't all the reports just be amalgamated into the yearly report? LOL

We're talking "government" here, Irish. (I'm having a vision of what the consolidated report would look like... we'd have to send it as freight.)

My new cubby is nice. I'm not next to the window, but I'm across from it, which is close enough. I have room for all my plants and beanie babies, and my computer faces so that nobody can sneak up on me. Very important in a cubicle world.
I need to go to office depot and pick up some organizing tools, though. When I left yesterday I had paper strewn from one end of my cubby to the other and no system for where to put it yet.
I need a maid.

I hate being disorganized. That's my biggest problem right now, and it was only yesterday that I realized I need another filing cabinet...DUH!

I've got tons of drawers. More than I need, really.
I just need to keep all my pending work straight. I need one of these:

I have two of those...and some file baskets and some binders, and a file sorter...and it's taken me two years to realize I need another file...*sigh*

I see on the internet that my husband's plane just landed at Boeing Field, so he'll be taking off for Everett as soon as he kicks his passengers off. That puts his ETA home at around two hours. Poor guy took off last night at 10:30 pm for an all-nighter to Montana. He's going to be tired, grumpy, and not fun to be around.
That might be a good time to go run errands.

Yep. Time to hit the gardening department at Fred Meyer and get some posies to plant while he's upstairs sleeping. I may even do some weeding!

I'm a serial plant killer, so I don't even think about buying posies. It would be a death sentence for them.

I get in the same room with plants on a daily basis and they die of fright.

Hi, 'Face!
The cellphone connection failed me yesterday. The service at Dulles airport was probably through another carrier so I couldn't get online. And after that I was too busy or too tired (got hme after 11 PM, PDT). Plus I came down with something in the middle of the week -- mostly exhibits as a sore throat in the morning. But I am home.
That's the good news.
The bad is that there's lots to be done, so I won't be around much today either.
Congratulations (I think?), Sandy?

It's good to know you're home again! How is LOM? And are you recovering from your sore throat? Take care of you!
