Why I Support President Bush and the ZOT!
Posted on 03/19/2006 6:29:28 AM PST by thousand dollar hamburger
I think he has a sincere desire to help everyone. he has even gone out of his way to embrace people like Hillary Clinton and Ted Kennedy. He does not hold grudges as shown by his willingness to bend over backwards to allow terrorist supporting nations to operate our ports. We need this type of benevolent leader.
Our President is not a cheapskate, as he has opened up our budget to give to anyone who might need anything.
Aliens from all nations are welcomed into our great country without having to deal with mundane bureaucratic State approval. Cutting government red tape -- that's the Bush way!
Yes, our Prseident even realizes that occupying as many countries around the world as possible is the best way to spread American ideals.
We are truly lucky to have this great man. I suggest that at 10:00 AM EST, we all stand up in unison and shout -- HOORAY FOR BUSH!!!

Hi, Jon!
Interested in going on a Martian expedition?
The old Viking lander isn't too far away.

Ugh. Doesn't sound like fun.
Fellow at our meeting today was handing out Ubuntu promo packs -- LiveCD and Installation CD. I tried it a while back; didn't install quite as smoothly as I liked. Plus, I seem to recall it installed Gnome (I'm much more the KDE fan due in large part, I think, to my horrible experience with Gnome 1.0). Not to mention the whole PC presentation of Ubuntu is a turnoff...

I'll have to take a raincheck on that one...;)
I got a report (comedy project) due for my lefty poli sci professor due tomorrow. She's going to get a healthy dose of Freeptoons...;)
Of course, I'm also going to have to produce a copy for Scully ;)

Wouldn't mind trying Ubuntu again with a live cd--I've tried Fedora and Slackware-based live CD's, as well as FreeSBIE (based on FreeBSD)...;)
I plan on trying to get a bunch of CD's for fall--AFAIK, Ubuntu's the only one who does this service directly.
As for Gnome--I use it, but I personally use KDE and/or Flux. I also like XFCE (something I miss from my days with Slackware 10.1 and later, Slax)--though I haven't installed it on Suse yet...:|
The one type of distro I've never really caught on are Debian and Debian-based distros.

I'm back. I didn't make it back to the "big paper" (got a little side tracked). And, well, now the TV is occupying my time. ;-)
To: tuliptree76
TV....yes. I'm watching Invasion. hehe
To: EsmeraldaA
Law and Order is currently on my television...
To: EsmeraldaA; All
Okay... Going back offline to get back to work (while watching the rest of the show).
To: tuliptree76
Have paper, will travel...;)
Seriously though--in the middle of finishing up that comedy project. Only has to be two pages in length, but I'm up to three and still have one more set to do...;)
