Why I Support President Bush and the ZOT!
Posted on 03/19/2006 6:29:28 AM PST by thousand dollar hamburger
I think he has a sincere desire to help everyone. he has even gone out of his way to embrace people like Hillary Clinton and Ted Kennedy. He does not hold grudges as shown by his willingness to bend over backwards to allow terrorist supporting nations to operate our ports. We need this type of benevolent leader.
Our President is not a cheapskate, as he has opened up our budget to give to anyone who might need anything.
Aliens from all nations are welcomed into our great country without having to deal with mundane bureaucratic State approval. Cutting government red tape -- that's the Bush way!
Yes, our Prseident even realizes that occupying as many countries around the world as possible is the best way to spread American ideals.
We are truly lucky to have this great man. I suggest that at 10:00 AM EST, we all stand up in unison and shout -- HOORAY FOR BUSH!!!

Yeah, pretty much. Still a bit tired, but the great weather is sure making up for it. How are you doing?

I've been taking advantage of the "cool" weather the last three mornings, and have gotten all my errands done before some people get out of bed.
My favorite time for shopping (if I HAVE to shop) is before 7:30 AM.
Moving will wear you out in a hurry if you aren't used to it. The stress of getting utilities turned on, finding stores you're familiar with and learning the neighborhood are all things that can wear you down.
And then there is MVD ~~ go early. Check for branches that are seldom used, and try to be there at least 20 minutes before they open. (AZ MVD is a zoo.) Make sure you have all your documentation, too...and allow yourself all morning for registration, etc.
Do you have a pool where you are? If so, go indulge. It will help. :o])

"... why I wouldn't mind being biologically immortal." Maybe we should have an essay contest. Needless to say, I have explored this thought, both in rhyme and in prose. The poems are "Forever Avatar" and "Before There Was Dirt."
In my current book, (number four), I delve into the matter by presenting it as a cautionary tale. The old phrase, "Be careful what you wish for" could not be more truly said than of immortality. There are negative possibilities.
Even so, I have always thought it good to maximize my options. George Burns said, "The first hundred years are the hardest." So far, I'd have to agree with him. I'm still working on mine.
And now, break time's over. Back on my head.

Hmmmm...
Food for thought. I'm not too sure I would want to be immortal. Maybe just a doubled or trebled life-span. I think George Burns said the first 100 years were the hardest. Or maybe that was my mother...:o|

Or maybe George Burns heard it from your Mother.

It may not be as far off as some might think...
And no... I'm not referring to the 2AM infomercial scammers selling a magnetic fountain of youth or a special cranberry and lemon peel enema that'll clean your free radicals out. I'm talking real, technological tinkering that'll extend human lifespans out hundreds, even thousands of years.
They are close. If not in our lifetime, then definately in our childrens lifespans.

If not in our lifetime, then definitely in our children's lifespans. They say that about a Mexican-majority United States, too ... and I'll be happy to die before either outcome occurs.

Things aren't that bleak. The populace was up in arms about the Irish, the Germans, and the Russians...
