Look, Landry put up with Duane Thomas, Hollywood Henderson, and Clint Longley, and if the rumors are true about Craig Morton lifestyle. Owens is no different.

ESPN.com's Len Pasquarelli reports the three-year contract signed by WR Terrell Owens with the Dallas Cowboys provides him the opportunity to be one of the highest-paid wide receivers in NFL history over a three-year period, and the chance to earn more than he would have under his contract with the Philadelphia Eagles.

The contract can be worth as much as $25 million if Owens plays through the deal and Dallas opts to pay him pricey roster bonuses in the springs of 2007 and 2008. Owens will earn a bonus of $5 million for this season and a base salary of $5 million, for total compensation of $10 million. Dallas must then pay Owens a roster bonus of $3 million in March 2007 to retain him for that season, at a base salary of $5 million. There is another roster bonus of $3 million due in March 2008, and Owens has a base salary of $4 million for that year.

Those are the nuts and bolts. We'll never know, but what does the contract say about onfield and off-field antics?

Yeah...TO dissing the Star was the ultimate slap in the face for Cowboy fan.

Easy prediction - the first TD by TO in Texas Stadium will have TO kissing the Star.

Most of them forgave Jerry for dissing Landry.....and most will forgive TO. If they win...

I'll never forget what the trash from Arkansas did. But that's just me. I doubt JJ cares a flip what I think! lol

Hubby says he done with the Cowboys now. I just can't believe they would sign this egomaniac. What a sad day for the "Boys".

T.O. should NOT rap! LOL

Hope you are not feeling too terrible. Tell L. we hope she feels better soon, too!

I haven't seen too many that're happy about this yet, besides TO and the Cowboys FO yet... ? Maybe I'm wrong.

It's starting to sound like tampering - perhaps involving Michael Irvin... T.O.'s in your face already-produced rap song isn't helping.

I'm feeling -- eh. Driving home was rough - sleepy! L was mad when she realized where I was... I told her she can go the first Sunday in April haha.

Is it true there are no behavior-related items in his contract? Brave souls, your team!!

I don't know. That seems like something that would have been addressed.

Somehow I knew Owens was coming. When the Cowboys cut Keyshawn Johnson, I knew it was a done deal.

The old Cowboys of Landry had their share of problem children. Do you remember Lance Rentzel (keep it in your pants, Lance?). He was married to Joey Heatherton, and got caught exposing himself to a ten year old girl.

Owens is a great wide receiver, and I thought it was obvious that his statements about McNabb were true. Heck, I was rooting for the Patriots, and was going, "What's going on with McNabb?" The Eagles were in a position to win the game, and he acted like he was trying to run the clock out.

I have no idea why, but Owens acted like he was trying to get cut from Philadelphia.

Heh... the way things turned out I'm glad to see him leave our Eagles... but I was hoping he'd end up on some AFC team. Not the Chargers of course. Just figures he'd stick (it to) with the NFC East.

BTW - I was sorry to see Caldwell leave the Chargers, as personally I think he can/will be very good with the Pats.

Man, it's gonna be tough to not watch any Cowboys games for 3 years. I don't like what JJ has done to my team. Or should I even use the word "team?" Now it's mainly a bunch of individuals wearing the same color... I don't think "team" applies anymore.
