Don't tell me that Pit-Bulls are just like any other dog you just have to know how to handle them. BullShit.
An old friend of mine had an American Staff about 30 years ago. Sweetest dog ever. One day, while he was on the phone, Daisy attacked him for no reason. Latched onto his thigh and wouldn't let go. He killed her with an aluminum baseball bat. If his friend on the phone hadn't called the police, he would have died from lose of blood. He was unconsious when EMT arrived. 82 stitches.
If I dog did that to any relative of mine it's owner would answer to my Lousiville Slugger....
Let the jury sort it out..
You can't "Switch Off" a Pit-Bull once he,or she goes into Attack Mode. .............. That goes for just about any animal, humans included. I have found that a stun gun is quite effective though in getting a dogs attention if they were trained with it. When mine get rowdy all I have to do anymore is just have them see me pick it up. Just the sound of the spark cracking in the air is enough for them to tuck their tales.
