When I was a wee lad, I was exposed to Speed Racer and Star Blazers. Then, I watched Macross, Voltron, Patlabor, and a few others. As for films, I like Miyazaki's work among others.

I think Macross really started it all for me. No wait, probably Speed Racer and G-Force got me started. I also loved Akira and Bubblegum Crisis, and I really loved Project A-ko in terms of hilarity.

I used to watch a lot of those too, I remember Robotech (Macross, there were three "chapters") and Voltron were fevorites. I remember my buddy and I drove home from school at a quick pace to watch them. B-) I also have a few Robotech (Macross chapter) comic books too.
