This must be the source of Al Gore's latest lunacy of only 10 years left! This guy's tin foil hat is firmly on. He has just enough correct physics and heat transfer to make it plausible to the gullible.

I find ALGOR to be a very useful and relatively inexpensive Finite Element Analysis software.

So exactly how is "Man" supposed to prevent the Earth's core from exploding?

The real danger for our entire civilization comes not from slow climate changes, but from overheating the planetary interior.
I stopped reading right there. Unbelievable.

Money cannot save the Planet. Only Understanding can. Focus on Understanding. It cannot be undone. So nothing can be done, I guess this guy needs to slit his wrists then. Environmentalism is an excuse for people to believe in anything, no matter how insane.

You obviously are not a Rush fan. Al Gore has been "Algore", as in Igor, from Dracula, since early in the Clinton administration.

Two comments --
1) Wasn't there a cheesy disaster movie about the core of the earth a few years ago?
2) If this is true, I ain't payin on my student loans if I'm gonna cause the planet to explode in a decade.

So only 'understanding' can save us?
Since I 'understand' how firearms operate I am immune to them?

Exactly, we'll bore a huge hole in the earth's crust to release the pressure and use that energy to supply the earth's needs for the next millennium. Brilliant!
