American Idol Conspiracy Theory Has Taylor Hicks Winning
Various conspiracy theories swirled around American Idol 4 that suggested the order of elimination might have been predetermined. Some of the theories involved a rumored early press release listing the tracks on the American Idol Season 4 The Showstoppers CD in the exact order that the contestants were eventually eliminated. The Independent, a British newspaper, also published that Carrie Underwood was the winner of American Idol 4 several days before the finale aired. The newspaper removed the story but never offered an explanation for the error (that turned out to be accurate).
The first conspiracy theory for American Idol 5 has already surfaced. A poster on the IdolForums.com message board identified as Love4 CU JS n MG made an interesting observation about the order the contestants were shown in during a recap on the Tuesday night American Idol performance show.
Before the Top 12 Idols gave their performances, Ryan Seacrest announced Your top 12, here they are and a face shot of each Idol was quickly flashed on the screen. The order the Idols were shown in were Melissa, Bucky, Lisa, Kevin, Ace, Kellie, Mandisa, Paris, Elliott, Katharine, Chris, and Taylor.
Love4 CU JS n MG points back to the American Idol 4 finale and says the contestants were shown in their order of elimination with Bo Bice and then Carrie Underwood being the final two, which foreshadowed Carrie Underwoods eventual win. Love4 CU JS n MG suggests that this seasons recap could be foreshadowing the eventual order of elimination.
So far only the Melissa elimination has come true, but the fact that Chris Daughtry and Taylor Hicks are the final two in this conspiracy theory does match up with what many are predicting. Could Taylor Hicks be destined to defeat Chris Daughtry in the American Idol 5 Finale?
Thanks for the Penn State logic. BTW, no one was talking to you.
Hey, I was just repeating your own logic right back to you. At least you're capable of realizing it makes no sense; for a while I doubted that was within your ability.
BTW, no one was talking to you.
Lucky for me I'm free to post to anyone I choose, smart guy.
That's a while longer than I spent considering anything about you. But just so we're clear, my logic to SirLinksalot was that if he remembered to contact me it was because I was wrong and he wanted to rub it in. I have no idea where your interpretation of what I said came from and, frankly, I don't care. You obviously didn't understand what I meant, hence my snide PSU comment.
Lucky for me I'm free to post to anyone I choose, smart guy.
...and unlucky for me I had to be the "anyone" you chose to push yourself on. You've clearly demonstrated I'm no match for your brilliant mind so I'll move aside and let you match wits with someone more worthy. I'm sure a "Taylor Hicks" debate is at the top of most people's list. In fact, why don't you and Linksalot discuss whether Hicks is comparable to Clay Aiken? Or something else equally deep. But do me a favor, will ya? Prove what a smarter guy/girl you are and don't waste any more of your time or mine exercising your "freedom" to post to me, OK?
Thanks. Seacrest blake6900 out.
Sounds good - thanks for understanding.
