America lags behind other countries that have universal broadband deployment, Pelosi said; but the Democrats' agenda "guarantees" that every American will have affordable access to broadband within five years.SBC DSL is down to $14.95 a month.
Wi-Max is coming for folks like me out in the boonies.
Pretty soon, broadband is going to be extremely cheap--all because of Adam Smith's Invisible Hand.
And the Democrats are going to blame Halliburton and Bush.

Nanci needs to get ex VP gore to manage this internet broadband, being as he invented the internet... and perhaps he could put another sur charge on our phone bills, like he did to hook the schools up to the Internet, I pay almost 5.00 a month for this farse..I am sure he could find a way to have every person pay for such a program..as Nanci proposes

Taxes will pay for it.
And if the Dems guarantee it, you can guarantee they will control the content as well.
They may deceive some into thinking people will prosper enough for this, but the truth is they will regulate providers and tax the consumer for it.
