To those who think my concern with fragrances smells, do a google search using "fragance health hazards". I've taken a few excerpts with links.

Yes, I smoke, I try very hard to be considerate. I won't smoke near a child, in a nonsmoker's car, house or in their presence even if they say it's alright. I run three miles three days a week in the same time I did at Parris Island 37 years ago. I also spend between seven and nine hundred dollars a year on an asthma drug I only need only after being exposed to strong fragrances. I don't advocate a law to protect me. As my friend Tom said,"The goverment that governs least governs best."
When I posted this thread, it was a question about courtousy and common sense in our society. The answer I got wasn't to that question. If I ever post again, I'll be sure to check with the self appointed free speech commissars individually, to make sure the thread meets their approval . They might be Dems or RINOs.

I've never been able to understand all this 'vanity' horseshit. That's probably the primary reason I never bothered to start a thread-all that ever happens to anyone on their first few is-the perennial FR pit bulls are drawn like moths to a flame. That harty character had to have put up some of the most long-winded, useless, and totally meaningless posts I've ever viewed here, and for what? To attack someone & feel superior (in his own mind). That's all this board is becoming any more. Eternal insult wars.

Thank you for being a considerate smoker, many aren't. Cigarette smoke does the same thing to me that perfume does to you, asthma. Perfume gives me a migraine headache. I do my best to avoid both things. Perfume is easier to avoid.
I've noticed the "alpha-females" (as they don't mind being called) doing alot of man-bashing lately too.
They want to come across as these (married) feminine mothers, wives and employees, yet they're more crass than most of the (single) men on here.
