Prayers for this little guy and his loving family during this incredibly scary time. May God be with them now, holding them in His Loving Embrace. May He instill in the caregivers the wisdom and skill needed to make the best decisions for Elias' care. May He heal completely this innocent baby and bless him with a long and happy life full of smiles and skinned knees, love and joy.

UPDATE on baby:
The baby's father sent an email to his mother who shared it with me. It was quite long & very personal, so I'm picking out the information to post here:
News is mixed.
This kind of cancer frequently GOES AWAY all by itself. He received chemo due to liver invasion, but oncologists are happy.
Neo-natologists are not so happy - oversized liver is compressing lungs & baby is on respirator.
Liver not actually functioning due to tumors so blood transfusions are happening.
This paragraph I'm posting verbatim except for the names:
These past few days have been really tough on us but God has been our strength. We have seen his hand watching over Elías and us as we’ve gone through all of this. We take comfort in the fact that God can relate to [us] because He knows what it’s like to watch his only Son suffer as well. We know that whatever happens will turn out for the best but for now we would like to ask you all to cry out to God on our sons behalf. Please…Please.
