Decent article. It is reasonable to think that internecine warfare (distro zealots) are at least partially responsible for Dell's position, yet at the same time they complain Dell doesn't support Linux on the desktop. There are portions of the Linux community who need to grow up and take a big-picture, real-world view.

"Microsoft has not talked to us about Linux. If they did, I wouldn't care. It's none of their business,"

Well, not anymore, since they were forced to cease monopolistic OEM licensing.
