This is one of the more interesting things I have seen. I love the way it can right itself after being kicked. Very cool, although it is a bit creepy, and that noise has to be dealt with.

The next "bigdog" will be nearly silent - this one is a prototype. (big model airplane engine) also - a power 'ankle' will be added to each leg.
My wife and I laughed like hell when we saw it, because it acts just like our llamas. (should have been called Robo Pushme-Pullyou)

A little work, and something like this could could run around Mars. What a wonderful invention. Glad there are still creative people out there.
