A half-dozen ideas in search of a unifying theme.
I clicked on the link. It appears there actually are several unrelated essays which, inexplicably, have been posted together as one article here.
What do you expect? It's a "CBN" article. I did find this bit interesting

Laney, I read the article. Although what you quoted is from the author, Dan Miller, the rest of the article is a collection of contributions by USA Today, Business & Legal Reports, and the Des Moines Register.
I'm a little disappointed that the additional comments couldn't be viewed when I clicked the link. They were probably pretty funny. It's only a matter of time until the stories of the boss peeking over someone's shoulder while they're watching porn on their iPod start popping up.

I'm sorry laney, I really hate to say this, but my respect for you is going, going......
I am sorry you feel that way, but I have been nice to her in the past and it was not returned, I know I should turn the other cheek but that does not come easy lately, and I am out of a certain product I use right now for Peace and understanding.
I don't go out of my way to say anything negative to anyone here on FR and I don't expect to recieve it from others, when I do it does not sit very well with me...
It has nothing to do with nice or turning the other cheek. It has to do with you being wrong. SC was right and you were wrong, yet you called him/her names for it.
Part of being an adult is the ability to see when one is wrong. You really need to work on that.
Whatever product you are using to help you achieve peace and understanding, I hope it is something doctor prescribed.
I believe SC has Alterior Motives so it negates the wrong or right factor with me, if I am wrong so be it, but that is my perspective on her and I shopuld be entitled to feel that way, it's not to upset anyone else.
When one is speculating as to another's motives, it seems only polite to alert that person to said speculation, no matter how baseless. The term is "ulterior motives," by the way.
