I clicked on the link. It appears there actually are several unrelated essays which, inexplicably, have been posted together as one article here.
What do you expect? It's a "CBN" article. I did find this bit interesting

A mother showed up for a job interview because her 18-yr-old daughter was “too busy” to make the appointment. Parents are intervening to negotiate salaries and direct work environments. Protecting and training is one thing. But at some point a child will need to take responsibility."
Perhaps the author is a meanderthal....
