This is the one I'm working on right now. Medieval-like unicorn needlepoint.

I learned how to crochet a rug from scrap yarn last weekend. It uses a LOT of yarn so it's pretty heavy, but it's moving along fast.

I'm so sore from shoveling snow, that I think it's going to be a slow knitting weekend. LOL!!

Hi Knitting! I've just found you! What a delightful thread. I am knitting a pair of embossed leaf socks from the winter edition of "Knits". Don't ask me why, I have a drawer full of socks, and it is keeping me from finishing a quilt I was going to give my granddaughter for her birthday, then Christmas, now another birthday. Let's face it, it'll probably be a wedding present. But knit I must!

I just bought a copy of Lace in the Attic...it's a book based on a victorian notebook of knit lace trim patterns. Looks like it will be fun to play with. I like knitting lace.

I did a scary thing. I went and checked on the prices of some of my older knitting books like Alice Starmore's book on knitting Arans.

Makes me want to go put some of them in a safety deposit box. Some books need ot be reprinted.

I have learned if you find a cool knitting book, better to buy it before it goes out of print. You may never be able to afford it again.

I just finished a felted knitted totebag this morning. It actually worked. It took 5 washings to get it right, though. Does anyone else do felted projects? I made a brimmed felted hat last month. It's pretty hot to wear so I don't think I'll be wearing it a lot.
