Oh Yah! I remember that! And I love haunted places too... darn. I'd love to see it, maybe you can take a digital photo of it sometime.

Drawing was never my strong point either, but I did have a ninth grade art teacher that was actually good enough to teach me to draw a few things.

I did it as a wall decoration for my college dorm room.
It is actually the opening scene from "Citizen Kane." You see a frightening, giant gothic mansion in the background, with ominous fog and myst everywhere (and a faded palm tree as well). In the foreground is a giant black gate with the the letter "K" over it.

I had a 7th grade art teacher that looked really good, but that's about all I can say.

Well, this teacher I speak of was a 55 year old man...who looked like Danny DeVito...so I wasn't as fortunate as you in that aspect.

But you have a REAL talent.
All I can do well is to shoot a gun...handgun or rifle. I don't care much for shotguns.

Funny thing, it actually looks like a painting. But I used every medium BUT paint. I used pencil, pen, crayon, marker, and colored pencil. The results impressed me.

I guess I have a moderate shooting talent. I love doing it but don't get the chance to as often as I like.
I went skeet shooting once and the results were pretty embarrassing.
However, I own a shotgun and I absolutely love it to death.

Lol well maybe you're just a bit better than I am. Two of my brothers got the art skills but I didn't.

Following through on your swing after you shoot is very important when shooting a shotgun at a moving target.

Ok, one more and I'm done showing off. This one is my unfinished Cagney. Perhaps, I shall finish it. You've got me all excited about art again:
To: ilovew
I remember tracing pictures to hand in for art class in high school. LOL!
But the teacher wasn't fooled.

I'm sure like everything, it takes a lot of practice.
Art is the same way. Not many years ago, I was absolutely terrible at it. But then I just sort of started drawing and it was a matter of practicing and practicing for years.
