He's 1 year and 4 months old.
We got him when he was a 3 month old puppy: someone had abandoned him just down the street from us. It's surprising how easy he was to house train.
Just a few minutes ago, he was laying on the couch sound asleep. I opened up the drawer I keep his treats in...just the drawer...and before I knew it, there he was at my feet begging.
I've trained him to do a few tricks. Sometimes, though, I'll hold up the treat. I'll say "sit", and he'll do all his tricks at once: he'll sit, he'll extend his hand to shake, then he'll lay down, then he'll put his head down like he's pouting. Then he springs up off the floor and tries to snatch it out of my hand.
