ABBA still good?
You can dance, you can jive, having the time of your life
See that girl, watch that scene, dig in the dancing queen
Friday night and the lights are low
Looking out for the place to go
Where they play the right music, getting in the swing
You come in to look for a king
Anybody could be that guy
Night is young and the musics high
With a bit of rock music, everything is fine
Youre in the mood for a dance
And when you get the chance...

Sometimes...... I worked nights for years.....and my clock gets turned upside down on occasion. I normally have to get up at 4am for work.....so it's a bit distressing when I have these episodes. :) When I'm off work....I stay up til at least 1am. What's your excuse? lol

My best friend won the 1996 World Championship in Barrels. Her horse is awesome! She started racing again recently....but had a heart attack. I think I told you about that...right? Glad to hear you're getting some R&R! You deserve it! An NOOOOOOOOOO I won't clean anything else for a couple weeks! Man, I'm beat! *chuckle*

My excuse goes back to the 9th grade. I had been repressed for years by super-early parents who made me go to bed at 10, right on the dot.
Then, I discovered the joy of staying up late one Friday night. I used to stay up all night watching cartoons every Friday. Those were the days.
Once you start the late-night routine...there's no going back.

Actually, I am kind of that way about cleaning, too. Once I start, I can't stop until everything is spotless.
The key is getting started.

What is your midterm in?
I did go to the rodeo a couple of weeks ago
The first time ever at a Rodeo was at the Nebraska state fairgrounds. What a great time! Where did you go?

Cleaning is mental therapy for me.

One of my favorites...

I guess the time was right for us to say
We'd take our time and live our lives together day by day
We'll make a wish and send it on a prayer
We know our dreams can all come true
With love that we can share
With you I never wonder - Will you be there for me
With you I never wonder - You're the right one for me
Chorus:
I finally found the love of a lifetime
A love to last my whole life through
I finally found the love of a lifetime
Forever in my heart, I finally found the love of a lifetime
With every kiss our love is like brand-new
And every star up in the sky was made for me and you
Still we both know that the road is long
(But) We know that we will be together
Because our love is strong

Where is everybody? Is it me or did this thread slow way down?
To: pcottraux
I have a tendency to do the same.

I've stayed up late on weekends ever since I was a kid and used to get up out of bed at 1am Saturdays to watch "Headbanger's Ball" after my parents went to bed.

LOL! Here too. I've been going to school and working so much I haven't paid much attention to the dust until I got a day off. (I leave for work in the dark and come home after dark) Ugh. I keep everything picked up and neat...so it's deceiving until you see the room in daylight! ha!
