Book Description
This is Mark Crutcher's compelling 320-page expose' of the American abortion industry. A unique and uncensored look at our nation's most wrenching social issue, it has already become a must read for anyone seeking to learn the truth about the abortion issue. It fully documents that women are being sexually assaulted, mutilated, and killed inside perfectly legal abortion clinics. It also shows how pro-choice groups have used raw political power to fight off regulation of the abortion clinic business.
One chapter exposes a massive cover-up of abortion clinic disasters being carried out by an agency of the U.S. government. Other subjects include: the medical evidence of a connection between abortion and breast cancer; how the abortion clinic business is collapsing because of the toll that abortions take on abortionists and abortion clinic workers; the barriers faced by women injured by abortion who seek compensation in the courts and suggestions for solving these problems.
I'm amazed and baffled that when I post about this book, i.e. give it a plug, on Abortion "Pinged" postings no one responds to me.
For many years I never knew that this "Lime 5", that was posted on the signs of Abortion Protesters, was a book. Stupid abortion protesters merely post "Lime 5" with no explanation such as "Read it, it's a book".
Anyhow, I found it to an interesting read, non-fiction.
It details the on-going and the reality of abortion. It talks about the CDC and their lack of accurate statistics on abortion. It talks about isolated, uncontrolled, wreckless and rogue abortionists. It also gives first hand accounts from women that have worked as nurses in abortion offices.
It seems like an accurate book that took many years to develop. They cites many good works including many court records and actual court trials that never make the MSM or front page news.
Anyhow, I thought it would be interesting to have something in Free Republic discussing Lime 5. I was disheartened when I did a search for "Lime" and then "Lime 5" and nothing appeared.
Thx.
As opposed to this thread.
HaHa, you are too funny.
You had to search to pull that one sentence out of many. That effort to then merely spew some rectal fecal jibberish. : )
Have a good day! I hope not to hear from you again.

Please FReepmail me if you would like to be added to, or removed from, the Pro-Life/Pro-Baby ping list...
I asked the Moderator if they could add a brief description to the title, so it would be more clear to people what the thread is about. People don't read past titles very often these days. ;)
Thank you, A.M. Again.
Fascinating. Haven't read it, but I'll add it to my amazon.com wishlist. I'm curious to see if anyone has read it.
Are there photos of aborted babies and really disturbing stories in it? I shy away from books, web sites, videos, etc. that have pictures of aborted babies. As much as I like to keep up with and support pro-life causes, I just can't tolerate the reality of what abortion does to a tiny, innocent child. It especially hits too close to home after having had a two pound preemie last year.
I would read the book if it's not graphic.
Please FreepMail me if you want on or off my Pro-Life Ping List.
Read it a few years ago ... very accurate book. Crutcher did his homework.
This book is a must-read if you are going to have an intelligent discussion about abortion. I read it a couple of years ago, but I find myself looking things up in this book all the time. The stories are graphic, but there are no pictures of aborted babies. I did not know you could get it from Amazon.com, but I would suggest that you purchase it from Life Dynamics to support their pro-life work. You can order at (817) 380-8800.

Why the drop after 1960? (in deaths of women from illegal abortions)
The reasons were new and better antibiotics, better surgery and the establishment of intensive care units in hospitals. This was in the face of a rising population. Between 1967 and 1970 sixteen states legalized abortion. In most it was limited, only for rape, incest and severe fetal handicap (life of mother was legal in all states). There were two big exceptions California in 1967, and New York in 1970 allowed abortion on demand. Now look at the chart carefully.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Abortion Statistics - Decision to Have an Abortion (U.S.)
· 25.5% of women deciding to have an abortion want to postpone childbearing
· 21.3% of women cannot afford a baby
· 14.1% of women have a relationship issue or their partner does not want a child
· 12.2% of women are too young (their parents or others object to the pregnancy)
· 10.8% of women feel a child will disrupt their education or career
· 7.9% of women want no (more) children
· 3.3% of women have an abortion due to a risk to fetal health
2.8% of women have an abortion due to a risk to maternal health
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So how many womens lives have been saved by abortion?
Only about 3% of abortions since 1972 were reported to be due to a risk to maternal health. A reasonable person would recognize that not all of those cases represent a lethal risk. But lets say they did. That means that nearly 45 million fetuses were butchered to save the lives of about 1.3 million women. Or put another way; 35 babies are killed to save each woman.
Abortion was legal in all 50 states prior to Roe v. Wade in cases of danger to the life of the woman.

IIRC, I purchased via Amazon with some guy in Pittsburgh or Philly, an independent seller...
Funny thing, when you google Lime 5, Life Dynamics doesn't come up immediately - of course the query is based on frequency of hits. Maybe that explains why I had difficulty finding the book for purchase in 2003.
I appreciate those of you that responded, I was beginning to think that I was in the Twilight Zone.

Random thought so bear with me: I love to watch Law and Order: SVU
That is Special Victims Unit; meaning cases that are of the violent sexual nature.
Anyhow, based on Lime 5, do you think a Law and Order episode would be made that portrays a rogue Abortionist? One that rapes women while sedated, 'accidently' kills girls via perforations and septic shock (sepsis) like with Holly Patterson and in the end it turns out that the Abortionist is a serial killer?
Yeah, I don't think they would make such an episode with such a controversial theme. But rest assured, that IF it had to do with targeting and attacking the character of Christians --- wait all those productions have been made...... anyhow.

Holly Patterson (August 29th, 1985 - September 17th, 2003), may she and her baby rest in peace.

I posted here through FR a short story I'd written and L&O: SVU used the story to generate an episode. It was about a researcher seeking a cure for Parkinson's; a baby was conceived with a wealthy Parkinson's victim and a young woman in a nursing home imprisoned in a coma, the baby was scheduled for abortion to harvest brain cells for treating the 'father'. My novel subsequent to the short story (Evil Arising became Evil Interrupted) is much better (more pro-life) and much more convoluted (cloning, stem cells, and abortion are integral) than the SVU episode, but to answer your question, yeah, the writers of SVU are always looking for storylines to adapted for their program. Sadly, the publishing industry doesn't want to touch pro-life storylines, currently.
This digital age makes things like this much easier.
Good luck with your future works.
I just got around to reading your post..YES!!!!!!!!!!I have read LIME 5 and I love it......If more pro life people knew about it,they could use some of this info for their debates with pro-aborts...Pro-abgorts know the truth,pro-lifers know the truth....Its everybody in the middle who needs the truth....
