Highlands, New Jersey has the highest elevation along the entire eastern seaboard, from Maine to Florida.
Can you hear me now?
Yes. Highlands NJ is 200 feet high right at the beach.
To get those same elevations at Cadillac Mountain, you have to be 3-4 tenths a mile off the beach.
Definition of Seaboard is "Along the coast". Definition of coast is where the ocean meets the land.
Forget what I posted earlier about highpoint and my town, I mis-interpreted the statement. For elevation, RIGHT AT THE BEACH, Highlands NJ(which is a shore town) is higher than around Cadillac Mountain. Once you get in half a mile or so, it clearly Cadillac Mountain is higher.
